101 - Newcomers

Everyone attends this group their first time attending Celebrating Freedom. This is a one time meeting where participants meet together (both genders) with all mixed recovery issues for an overview of Celebrating Freedom. During this time, the group will divide into separate groups, gender specific, for a time of sharing personal struggles and to answer questions participants may have.

201 - (separate groups for men and women)

Everyone transitions to this gender specific group after Newcomers 101. The purpose of 201 is to funnel participants into the study groups as they become available. These groups are like a stepping stone to begin practicing open sharing of our struggles in a safe atmosphere.

We also become acquainted with sharing in a group environment where we gain, as well as give, support and acceptance to others. This prepares us for the transition to a study group where we will be sharing more openly and on a much deeper level. In 201 we will hear many struggles similar as well as different from what we are going through. This helps broaden our view of other strongholds instead of just looking at one specific area of our lives.

 

 

CHILDCARE Childcare is available for toddlers and up. Pick up a copy of the childcare guidelines at our information table and complete an information sheet for each child. The intent of Celebrating Freedom childcare is to provide a safe place for children during the Celebrate free meeting time to allow the participants to concentrate on their recovery.
